Mat class for the masses! This Pilates Mat class will tone, shape, lengthen and strengthen your entire body. Beginning, Intermediate and Advanced students all welcome. This class will incorporate both beginning level modifications and advanced variations to ensure all participants get the best workout possible.
Slow paced Pilates exercises to help you re-connect with your body. Best for those new to Pilates, not comfortable in large group classes, or anyone who would like a slow way to ease into exercise and getting in shape. Not for intermediate or advanced individuals.

JOE'S MAT~CLASSIC 34
Classic Order, Classic Style, Classic Mat. This Advanced Pilates Mat Class features the original 34 Pilates Mat exercises as performed by Joseph Pilates himself.
Combining a graceful, rhythmic flow with an active and athletic style, your body gets the best of both worlds in this class. Isometric movements recruit every muscle in the body, sparking your metabolism and lengthening your body. Instructor choreographs movements, smoothly transitioning from pose to pose.
YIN DEEP STRETCH
Vigorous Flexibility and relaxation. Yin goes beyond the average stretching routine. This quiet, meditative practice focuses on lengthening the muscles and releasing connective tissues (fascia). Gravity is your friend, as you reach your edge, holding a pose for several minutes. It complements yang or "active" yoga-it's a must for any athlete. Stress and injury restrict blood flow causing stiffness and pain. Yin Yoga can help blood circulate better. The focus of this practice is to stretch the large muscles groups that commonly hold stress, such as hips, lower back and shoulders.
Gentle-Active Flexibility, balance, mobility and relaxation. This practice is graceful, rhythmic and slow. A gentle flow focuses on stretching, breathing, relaxation and simple movements to increase range of motion of the major joints. Postures may be approached in gradual steps, appropriate for students who simply prefer to move at slower pace.
BETTER BALANCE + BONES
Improve your balance, strength, and posture!!! This class is designed to bring awareness of balance and strength through core activation. We can all use stronger bones and better posture! *Many classical Pilates exercises are not ideal for those diagnosed with Osteopeania, Osteoporosis or low bone density which will be addressed during this class.
(BALANCE ON AN UNSTABLE SURFACE AND PILATES)
This class uses various props, foam rollers, the Bosu, Bands, Weights and more to challenge your balance and stability as you work your core. Great for skiers and athletes, or anyone looking for a class that changes and constantly challenges.
BODY BARRE and ULTIMATE BODY BARRE
Sexy, Fun and Firming! Come sculpt, tone, and align your entire body while you melt away the calories. Body Barre is rooted in Pilates, Yoga and Dance, but at Team Pilates it is taught by certified Pilates instructor and previous professional Ballet Dancer, Angelie Melzer. This version of Barre class has built a reputation in the fitness industry as the SAFEST Barre class available and is backed by Balanced Body (the leading name in the Pilates industry for equipment and education) and based on the Boston Body Barre method.
Baby Barre is a fun way to play with your babe while you workout and get some adult social interaction! Triple the fun! This workout will include you and your baby interacting (they get to be your free weights). Same Barre fun with ab toning, thigh firming and cardio blast...just with your sidekick included! Open to babies ages 0-2 years old.
Kids Barre will give your child the perfect outlet for all of their post-school energy. Whether they just need to move or they are training for a specific sport, this class will be perfect. It includes weight training, upper and lower body toning and cardio. Open to ages 6-14 years old. FYI: For those older teens, Teen Barre is coming in the summer of 2013!
Always wanted to "look and feel like a ballerina". Well now you can! This fun, and effective Ballet Barre is for the complete novice (so don't be intimidated) or those with past dance experience that just plain "miss" it! Join us as we melt the calories away doing our demi-plie!
A fusion of upper leg, inner thigh, glute and core strengthening. Join us in this fast paced class that will help you achieve a lifted, round and firm lower body that looks great in shorts. This class utilize Props, Pilates and Power to get a "smiley" butt!
This revolutionary class uses the Orbit to create a system of movement that adds core power and strength, combining seated and standing exercises with rotational movement. Challenge your obliques and engage your core as you literally "go for a ride" in this class!
Imagine the grace and fluidity of dance combined with the deep core work of Pilates. The result: Dancelates. This Team Pilates exclusive class was dreamed up by former professional ballerina, Angelie Melzer. Dancelates will have you gracefully toning and strengthening your muscles for that long, lean dancer body look.
This class uses the Wall Unit and spring systems. The Springboard is a fun and challenging piece of equipment used to strengthen the upper body, tone the lower body, lengthen the spine and create overall body health.
CIRCUIT CLASS~CIRCUS CLASS
Experience the full benefits of Pilates as you transform your body and circuit through all of the classic Pilates equipment, including the Reformer, Trapeze, Pilates Chair and Ladder Barrel! "Circus" class will include BARRE and SPRINGBOARD.

This class starts with 15 minutes of a BOSU Challenge and rolls into 40 minutes of a Pilates Apparatus Circuit Class for the perfect mix of core and cross training!

We specialize in pre and post natal, osteoporosis, scoliosis, and spinal column injuries, as well as, sport specific training. DUET & TRIO
Everything is more fun with a friend! Join one (Duet) or two (Trio) of your friends to experience the effectiveness of a private session shared with a friend, family member or co-worker. Ready to team up but don't have a partner? Ask us to partner you with a buddy (or two) to partake in this customized team effort workout.

Want to workout next to a Master and see how it should flow? Duet with a Trainer is our most popular duet session. Watch and learn as you get connected to muscles you had NO IDEA YOU HAD!
CUSTOM WORKOUT/OPEN GYM
Begin your training with (3) private session workouts designed to evaluate your specific needs and develop a custom workout plan for your use in the Pilates studio. Upon completion of your (3) private sessions, you'll have the knowledge and confidence to continue your Pilates training without direct supervision. Visit the studio during "open gym" hours and complete your custom workout when it suits you! Instructors will be available for questions and re-evaluations upon completion of 10 open gym sessions.
